Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global progress into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The album he released as his debut ADN came out through La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The album peaked at the rank of eight spots on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. He collaborated with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in 2020 and later that year, released his sophomore album which was the charting Dopamina. Then in 2021, he sang the duet for TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The year 2023 was when the hit song La Bachata was released. His mother and brother were both musicians when the time he was born. According to him, musicality is a vital element of his existence. He began learning to play the saxophone and guitar as well as ukulele and keyboard as a young child.
