Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and drama and opera. At age 16 she began to sing and study the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive vocal instruction. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. After relocating into the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at private parties and events, performing the traditional Latin American Music. She is involved with many local projects in both teaching and performer because of her love of music and art. Ana has also been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her love and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
